The 23rd Macao International Trade and Investment Fair
After 22 successful editions, and thanks to the strong support from and active cooperation of governments and government agencies from different countries, as well as from international organizations and people from all walks of life, Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) has already become an international platform for trade and investment co-operation, exchange of market information and the matching of business opportunities, with positive impact in promoting economic globalization and regional economic co-operation.
The 23rd MIF is scheduled to be held from 18 to 20 October 2018 at The Venetian Macao. This year ́s event is organized under the theme “Co-operation – Key to Business Opportunities”, with themed exhibition, forums and seminars, business matching, business negotiations, sourcing negotiations, aim to pragmatically promote the exchange of economic and trade information between Macao ́s business community and overseas enterprises, as well as discussions regarding co-operation in projects.
It is worth mentioning that, the “Portuguese-speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao)” (PLPEX), will be held concurrently with the 23rd MIF, so as to provide more exhibition and business matching opportunities for enterprises intending to participate in the economic and trade co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. Exhibition
MIF will set up pavilions for Chinese cities and provinces, Europe, Portuguese-speaking Countries, the Americas and ASEAN, as well as a diverse array of themed products zones and exhibition areas. Collaborative activities will be held by the “Partner Country” (Mozambique) and the “Partner Province”(Fujian) of MIF, both will send high-level delegations to Macao, lustering Macao’s role as the “Business and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” while enhancing its global influence and diversification of local economic development.
Forum/Conference
Many high-level themed forums, international economic and commercial conferences, investment promotion sessions will be held to facilitate investment and co-operation, including the International Trade and Investment Forum and the World Summit of Chinese Entrepreneurs. Internationally influential leaders from governments, commercial giants, business elites and Chinese entrepreneurs from all parts of the world will gather here in Macao to share their insights into the development trends and future prospect of the Asian and Global economy.
Business Matching
MIF offers a series of business matching services, covering buyers meetings, franchising and chain business matching and brand agencing. To maximise the efficacy of this service, MIF provides an online business matching service platform for the event and each exhibition area and session, ushering in even more possibilities for successful matching among delegations and exhibitors.
SMEs Co-operation
MIF is committed to create a platform to support co-operation, exchanges, promotion and development of SMEs by proactively inviting commercial associations and enterprises from different countries and regions to Macao.
