‘MADE IN HOME KONG’ PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION | LAUNCH BLOCK PARTY

Hong Kong Street Photography Exhibition by Bamboo Scenes x Home Kong & Locofama x Blacksalt

In celebration of Hong Kong - the place we call HOME. Bamboo Scenes & Home Kong are partnering up to welcome March Arts Month to their city by launching a special photo exhibition: 'MADE IN HOME KONG' by the Hong Kong-based artists of Bamboo Scenes. Showing their city and its streets from unusual perspectives with a special Launch Block Party with Locofama & BlackSalt on Saturday, March 16th - with Live DJ sounds, Organic Bites and funky weekend vibes.

Fueled by a sense of pride and love for the city - Bamboo Scenes and Home Kong are joining forces for a special collaboration ‘ Made in Home Kong’ celebrating real art coming from the city. A collaboration that will be kicked off with a Photography Exhibition showing a raw and authentic visual story of the streets of Hong Kong. A partnership that grew naturally: Home Kong is a city-centric platform and lifestyle brand that features an intimate look at the people, places and talk of the town - and Bamboo Scenes a Hong Kong gallery offering unique, affordable Street Photography Art of the city by the local art scene. Aiming to offer meaningful art with a purpose, 10% of profits is donated to local charity ImpactHK helping the homeless.

The strong collective of 21 Bamboo Scenes photographers - among whom Hong Kong artists Elaine Li, Stephanie Teng, Jeremy Cheung & Kevin Mak and international artists as Gideon de Kock, Christopher Lim and Sharon Liu - will be exhibiting a selection of not-shown-before photography artworks and all-time favourites - representing what HOME KONG is to them. A fascinating exhibition filled with personal stories & cultural histories. 100% Made in Home Kong - from the capture, to the Fine Art print, the custom-made frame to the Home Kong community.

Exhibition Launch Block Party | Saturday, March 16, 2 - 6 PM

Gathering Hong Kong's creative talent from Art to Music to Design to Food - the exhibit will be launched at Bamboo Scenes Gallery & Locofama with a special Launch Block Party on Saturday, March 16th, 2-6PM, with Live DJ sounds by Fergus Heathcote , Organic Bites by Locofama & BlackSalt. Entry is free with 100% of pay-by-donation proceeds at the gallery doors donated to local charity ImpactHK.

After Party at Paper Street | Saturday, March 16, 6PM - 1AM

With Hong Kong’s creative talents all coming together on one day, it’s hard to end the celebration. The party will continue at Home Kong’s new homebase ‘ Paper Street ’ in Sheung Wan (no entry free).
