Hong Kong's Got ESG Talent - Mentorship Program

The European Chamber of Commerce recognise that there are limited mentoring opportunities available for students & professionals to start or advance their careers in Sustainable Finance in HK, and therefore we would be delighted as Sustainable Finance Working Group to host the program: Hong Kong's Got ESG Talent.

We are looking for 20-25 talented students or professionals looking at initiating and/or enhancing their journey into the sustainable finance arena. These individuals will be paired with a mentor from European Banks and Asset Managers based in Hong Kong over a 9-month programme, from May to December 2022. ​

Through this programme, you will be able to: 

• Develop knowledge, skills, potential, and confidence​

• Gain a better understanding of the sustainable finance field

• Obtain real-time experiences in the workplace ​

• Build and widen your professional network

• Complement your formal studies and/or training in the field​

• Promote career development and mobility

​Criteria for applicants: 

• Interested to pursue a career in Sustainable Finance and learnt from European Banks/Asset Managers best practices

• Open and eager to share and learn from others

• Eager to expand network beyond current work environment

• Highly motivated to engage with mentors including setting up meetings and meeting agendas

• Committed to the whole mentoring programme and attending programme events/ workshops
