Bubbles & Wines: The wine room that is your home away from home

Bubbles & Wines, a new and welcome addition to the Hong Kong restaurant scene, will soft open its doors on September 21st, 2020 in Stanley, at Shop B1 G/F New Town Mansion, 26 Stanley Main Street. 

Just tucked away from Stanley Market, Bubbles & Wines is a destination on its own. This hidden gem is a wine room with a warm atmosphere, giving you the ‘home away from home’ experience with their living room-style ambience.

Bubbles & Wines is for those who are looking for excellent hospitality, delicious cheeses and charcuterie, and of course, accompanied by good champagnes and wines.

The wines have been carefully selected by Evan Horsman, the founder of Bubbles & Wines. These are from small boutique wineries with limited productions of 2000 to 6000 bottles per year. The fresh charcuterie is imported from Italy and there is a collection of 15 lovely kinds of cheese. The cheeses are presented on a beautiful tailor-made cheese cart, which is a unique sight by itself.

The cheese cart is not the only tailor-made piece of furniture. Evan’s vision was to create a living room where people feel at home. He has a strong eye for detail and was heavily involved in the interior design process. To further add to the cozy and ‘homey’ feeling, there are fresh flowers and plants too. Bubbles & Wines works with local product suppliers to support the local community.

Evan Horsman is a true hospitality professional and enthusiast. He has worked in various countries in Europe and Asia. Evan moved to Hong Kong in 2012 and has worked at Aqua before he was offered to work at the Peninsula. In 2015 he relocated to Beijing to pursue an exciting challenge, but love brought him back to Hong Kong in 2018. In early 2020 he moved to Stanley and after a month the idea for Bubbles & Wines was born.
