Sales Assistant Internship (Outdoor Furniture Trading)
Responsibilities:
- Supplier Interaction and Product Information Collection:
- Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to gather detailed product information from suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Ensure timely communication with suppliers to address any inquiries or issues.
- Supplier Research and Identification:
- Research potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and identify those that align with our requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of existing and potential suppliers.
- Quotation Preparation:
- Assist in preparing accurate and competitive quotations for potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure consistency and alignment with pricing strategies.
- Participate in crafting responses to tender requests, addressing client-specific requirements.
- Sales Presentations and Materials:
- Organize and compile data for sales presentations.
- Develop visually appealing presentation formats and materials.
- Post-Trade Show Follow-Up:
- After trade shows or industry events, organize and manage contacts obtained.
- Send follow-up emails, catalog materials, and additional information to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into sales opportunities.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with order processing, invoicing, and shipping coordination.
- Handle any administrative tasks related to sales operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual abilities (English, French, Chinese, and German) are a plus.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- Standard work hours: 40hrs/week.
- Special conditions: Some flexibility for occasional weekend work during trade shows.
